The Incident
During a live investigation inside a Freemason Lodge, the heavy outer door — properly shut, solid, the main entrance to the building — swung fully open on its own. It held open long enough for everyone in the room to register it. Then it slammed shut hard enough that the whole room felt the impact.
Six people were present. All six saw it happen. Nobody was near the door.
Once the initial shock had passed, the team checked the door thoroughly — hinges, latch, frame alignment, draught sources, airflow through the building. They found nothing that explained it.

The Sceptical Explanation
Heavy doors in old buildings can have their own quirks — a latch that doesn't always seat properly, a slight lean in an ageing frame, or a sudden pressure change from another door opening elsewhere in the building can occasionally cause unexpected movement. The team's check didn't find a fault, but something transient wouldn't necessarily leave evidence.
The Paranormal Possibility
Six independent witnesses watching the same direction at the same moment is the strongest part of this case. It's not one person's account. Nobody was near the door. The check afterwards ruled out the obvious mechanical causes. Whatever opened that door and slammed it shut — it wasn't anyone in the room.
