Mill Street Barracks
A former barracks where most of what we found had an explanation, and one thing still doesn't.
The history
Built to house soldiers, Mill Street Barracks has stood through both world wars and everything the men stationed there carried home with them.
Footsteps in empty corridors and cold spots were the classic reports. On investigation, most traced back to a subsiding foundation and an old ventilation duct. Then a section of banister came away in a room with nobody in it.
